BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Erskine College women's soccer team (1-0-1, 1-0-1 CC) played 20 minutes of extra soccer for a 0-0 draw with King University (0-1-1, 0-1-1 CC) on Sunday afternoon.

THE SERIES
The Tornado are a team the Fleet have historically had trouble getting a result against, although the last two meetings Erskine has received a 2-0 win and now a 0-0 draw.
 
THE MATCH
The team's played a competitive first half with the Tornado managing four first half shots to Erskine's two. King took all three of its corner kicks in the first half as the Fleet waited until the second half for their opportunity. Although the Tornado put two shots on goal in the first half, Erskine goalkeeper Cheyenne Fuller made the saves to keep the match scoreless. In the second half, the Fleet took more opportunities but only registered a single shot on goal. Neither team broke through, however, and needed extra time to come to the 0-0 decision.
 
WOMAN OF THE MATCH
Erskine goalkeeper Cheyenne Fuller made three saves to keep the match level and earn the Fleet a point.
 
THE TEAM
The Fleet tallied 11 shots, two of which were on goal. Keeper Cheyenne Fuller made three saves.
 
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet return home to play at Huggins Field for the first time this season when they host Lees-McRae College (1-0, 1-0 CC) on Sunday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m.
 
Last season the Fleet earned a 2-1 road victory in Banner Elk and are currently on a four-game winning streak against the Bobcats.
