THE SERIES
Before today, Erskine had never lost to Chowan. The Fleet swept the season series last year when the Hawks joined Conference Carolinas.
THE GAME
Five different Fleet scored in the opening 10 minutes which saw Erskine lead 12-9 at the end. After
Megan Jones opened the second quarter with a 3-pointer, the Hawks pieced together a 12-0 run over the next two and a half minutes to gain control 21-15. From the 5:48 mark on the Fleet's only offense came at the stripe as they faced a 28-18 deficit at the break. The Hawks matched their second quarter mark of 19 points and took a 47-28 advantage into the fourth.
Raina Hall scored five of her team-high 12 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough as the Fleet fell 65-44.

THE PLAYER
Raina Hall finished with 12 points on 4-of-11 shooting including making both 3-pointers she took. Hall grabbed seven rebounds and also added a pair of blocks.
THE TEAM
Erskine shot 12-61 (19.7%) from the floor and was 5-23 (21.7%) from beyond the arc. Chowan won the battle of the board 50-46. Both teams turned the ball over 15 times and the Hawks edged the Fleet 14-4 in assists.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet close out the regular season with a road trip to Southern Wesleyan University (1-13, 1-12 CC) on Thursday, February 25.

Although the Warriors won the first meeting this season in Due West, the Fleet look to level the series as they did last season. Erskine leads 10-7 all-time.
