DUE WEST, S.C. – The Flying Fleet men's basketball team (0-5, 0-3 CC) matched up against Conference Carolinas opponent Emmanuel College (4-1, 3-0 CC) in their home opener in Belk Arena. The Fleet entered the game on a 4 game losing streak, looking to gain their first win of the season. Erskine and Emmanuel traded blows to start the game, going bucket for bucket to open the game. After some costly turnovers and a tough backend of the first half, the Fleet found themselves in a 12 point hole. Erskine tried its best to fight and claw its way out of the 12 point hole but could not do so and eventually fell 66-78.
THE PLAYER
Jaylen Prioleau and Stephen Thomas were the main two scoring options for the Fleet, pouring in 18 points a piece. Prioleau also lead the Fleet with 7 rebounds and added a block and steal.
THE TEAM
Erskine shot 29-64 (45.3%) from the floor and was 3-18 (16.7%) from beyond the arc. The Fleet shot only 5-9 (55.6%) from the foul line in the game.

The Fleet will face Chowan University in Murfeesboro on Friday, December 3rd at 7:00 PM.
