PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Erskine College Men's Basketball (0-4, 0-1 CC) lost to UNC Pembroke (4-0, 1-0 CC) in their first Conference Carolinas matchup of the season. The Fleet fought hard early but after an 11-0 run from UNCP extended the lead to 12 points, the Fleet couldn't recover. Erskine eventually fell 73-110.
THE PLAYER
Freshman Guard Austin Medlin led the Fleet in scoring with 18 points on 4-8 shooting and 3-5 from behind the arc.
Kaleb Brooks also added 15 points for the Fleet.
THE TEAM
Erskine shot 20-59 (33.9%) from the field and 8-26 (30.8%) from behind the arc.

The Fleet will pick back up on Tuesday, November 23rd in Spartanburg, SC versus Converse University at 7:00 PM.
