TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Erskine College women's soccer team (0-13, 0-11 CC) was defeated by North Greenville University (10-3-4, 9-1-2 CC) by a score of 4-0 at Pepsi Stadium on Tuesday evening.

THE SERIES
North Greenville now holds an 8-5-1 lead in the all-time series and have not lost in their last six meetings with Erskine.
THE MATCH
The Crusaders doubled up the Fleet in shots in the first half, eight to four, and their pressure was rewarded in the 12th minute when Romee Contreras gave NGU an early 1-0 lead that they took into the halftime break as Erskine was unable to tally a shot on target in the opening 45 minutes. North Greenville continued to be in control and cushioned their lead in 64th minute on a Megan Biehl goal. Less than a minute later, Contreras scored again to make it a 3-0 game before NGU added a fourth and final goal in the 78th minute to take down the Fleet, 4-0.
THE TEAM
North Greenville outshot Erskine 17 to eight and had an eight to three advantage in shots on target.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet conclude conference play at home this Saturday when they take on Francis Marion University (2-13, 2-8 CC) at 2:00 p.m. on senior day. This will be the first ever meeting between the Fleet and the Conference Carolinas newcomer Patriots.
