THE SERIES
Chowan now leads the all-time series 3-1 and the Hawks have won the last three meetings against the Fleet.
THE MATCH
Chowan wasted no time taking an early lead, as the visitors struck first in the fifth minute on a goal by London Williams. Just five minutes later, James Randall doubled Chowan's lead as the Fleet conceded twice in the opening ten minutes of the match. Erskine grew into the match some in the middle stages of the opening half, but Tren Drexhage slotted home a third goal for the Hawks in the 23rd minute as Erskine fell behind 3-0. The Fleet had a chance to cut into the deficit in the final moments of the first half, but
Camilo Moreno's left-footed valley went just on the wrong side of the near post as Erskine went to the halftime break trailing by three goals. The Fleet were more assured defensively in the second half but could not manage a shot on goal as Chowan left Due West with a 3-0 victory.
THE TEAM
Chowan outshot Erskine 12 to eight and had a six to one advantage in shots on target.

Isaac White.
