THE SERIES
The Crusaders have won four consecutive games over the Fleet with tonight's win. North Greenville pulls within just one game of evening the all-time series in which the Fleet lead 11-10.

THE GAME
Similar to Tuesday's contest, the Fleet's opponent once again leaped out to an early lead, scoring the game's first 12 points. NGU's Haylee Luttrell scored eight of the Crusaders opening 12 points as the visitor held a 16-4 advantage after the opening frame. The Fleet doubled their offensive efforts in the second quarter, scoring eight points behind 3-pointers from Carmen Chandler and Osha Makerson as well as a layup from Anzya Cook. North Greenville led 27-12 at the break. In the second half the Fleet tallied 39 points and even closed the gap to a five-point game. Trailing 45-29 with 1:24 left in the third, the Fleet, led by Osha Makerson, went on a 11-0 run to end the third and start the fourth quarter. With just under eight minutes it was a two-possession ball-game at 45-40. NGU held on for a 10-point victory in the fourth, though.

THE PLAYER
Osha Makerson tallied half of her 22 points in under a four-minute span. Makerson, who eclipsed 20 or more points for the third time this season, shot 8-26 from the field while adding eight steals and five rebounds.

THE TEAM
The Fleet shot 25.4% from the field, and were 8-44 (18.2%) from beyond the arc. Erskine produced more steals 14-8 than the Crusaders, but lost the battle of the boards to NGU 48-42.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Fleet conclude their four-game week with a trip to Banner Elk, N.C. to face off against Lees-McRae College (3-2, 3-2 CC). Tip-off if set for 2:00 PM in Williams Gymnasium.

Last season the Fleet and Bobcats each protected their home courts by splitting the two game set, however, LMC owns a 16-12 hold on the all-time series.
