THE SERIES
Today's game was the third all-time meeting between the Fleet and Terriers since the 2016-17 season. Wofford owns a 3-0 advantage in the series.

THE GAME
Quarter 1: Although it was the Fleet's first game of the season, it was the Terriers offense who looked off their game early, committing nine first quarter turnovers. The inconsistent play from the Wofford side allowed Erskine some room in the opening frame. In fact, the Fleet pulled within just two points at 14-12 after an Osha Makerson made 3-pointer with just under three minutes to play. Megan Jones had six first quarter points in which Wofford led 24-13 after the opening 10 minutes.

Qtr. 2: Beginning with 1:17 left in the first quarter, the Terriers went on a 12-0 run to create separation in the second quarter. Wofford outscored Erskine 20 to 11 in the frame on 9-of-20 shooting from the field and took a 44-24 advantage into halftime.

Qtr. 3: Mariah Corry opened the half with a made 3-pointer, but from there the Terriers began the third quarter on a 9-0 run to push their lead to 53-27. Wofford held a 60-35 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Qtr. 4: The Fleet scored a game-high 14 points in the fourth quarter as Wofford held on for the 88-49 win.

THE PLAYER
Osha Makerson led the Fleet effort with 16 points on 6-of-20 shooting from the field. Makerson collected three assists as well as three steals.

THE TEAM
The Fleet were 16-69 from the field (23.2%) and shot 10-39 from 3-point range (25.6%). Erskine forced 22 Wofford turnovers and outscored the Terriers in that category 20-19 off those turnovers. Wofford grabbed 69 rebounds compared to Erskine's 29 and had 10 more assists (22-12) than the Fleet.
