The Fleet went into halftime trailing SWU 7-4. The Fleet would cut the lead to just one in the first minute of the second half, when Epstein and Flanagan would both put one past the goalie just ten seconds apart from each other. SWU would post the next three goals to once again increase their lead 10-4. Erskine would go on a three goal run of their own to once again cut into SWU's lead. Down by just one with seven minutes left to play, SWU found the back of Erskine's net for the last goal of the game, taking an 11-9 victory over the Fleet.
