Flying Fleet men's volleyball fell in four in Saturday's Conference Carolina's matchup against Belmont Abbey. After dropping the first two sets, the Fleet rallied back to take the third but ultimately dropped the match after a quick fourth set.
Despite the loss, several players for the Flying Fleet put up solid performances. Offensively,
Jacob Whyte tallied a team high of fifteen kills, while Abel de Jesus and
Josh Arrowood each recorded another eight.
Jon Fuller also had an impressive offensive day getting five kills of his own with zero errors on the match. Defensively,
Gary Aromin totaled a team high eleven digs, with de Jesus bringing in eight more and Arrowood bringing in six.
The Fleet continue Conference Carolina's play with a game against Emmanuel on Tuesday, February 18, in Franklin Springs, GA.
