DUE WEST- Senior forward Zyria Gay hit two free throws with twelve seconds remaining to lift Erskine past Chowan, 60-57, in Conferecne Carolinas action Saturday at the Galloway Center. Gay was fouled with seconds remaining and the Fleet trailing 57-56. She converted two free throws for the 58-57 lead. After a Chowan miss, senior Cheyenne Matson added tow more fre throw with 3.5 seconds remaining to seal the win.

Erskine senior Alexis Scott led the Fleet with 23 points on the afternoon while freshman guard Osha Makerson added 13 points before being injured in the third quarter. Gay added 11 points none more important than her final two. Erskine trailed by seven points with four minutes remaining in the game.
