Kissimmee, Fla. – The Fleet men's soccer team was eliminated in the 2020 NCCAA Tournament semifinals with a 3-1 loss to Bethel University on Friday.

THE SERIES
Erskine and Bethel had never met for an official contest prior to tonight.
THE MATCH
The 4
th-seeded Erskine Flying Fleet took on top-seeded Bethel University with a place in tomorrow's NCCAA Championship on the line. The Fleet opened the scoring in the 18
th minute thanks to a goal from
Tim Boeckstaens, the senior's third of the tournament. But the Pilots responded quickly with a pair of goals inside the next seven minutes capped by Isaac's Nunez's unassisted goal to give the number one overall seed at the break. Bethel added a game-sealing third goal from Tim Noeding in the 73
rd minute as the Fleet were eliminated from the NCCAA National Championships in the semifinal round.
WHAT THE RESULT MEANS
Erskine's 2020 fall season comes to an end while Bethel takes on the winner of the Grace vs Campbellsville matchup in tomorrow's championship game.

The Fleet prepare for the 2021 spring season, which begins on February 28 at King University.
