THE MATCH
The #4 seeded Erskine Flying Fleet connected for a pair of first half goals within just four minutes time to gain control of their opening NCCAA National tournament match. At 38:40 Ryan De Leon played a ball from Dennis Cole to beat DBU keeper, Alexander Knepper, and push the Fleet ahead 1-0. Four minutes later Tim Boeckstaens scored (unassisted) the first of his two goals to give the Fleet a 2-0 lead. Though the Fleet were outshot 10-6 in the opening frame, they maintained a goal advantage at the break. In the second half, the Fleet's margin only widened with goals from Oscar Hernandez (38:13), Boeckstaens (29:52), and Roman De Leon (16:46)

MAN OF THE MATCH
Tim Boeckstaens found the back of the net twice for the Fleet.

The Tigers have not yet conceded a goal in their four contests, outscoring opponents 19-0.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet face Campbellsville University (4-0) tomorrow night in an attempt to push through to the semifinals.
