Erskine Takes Two from Barton

Wilson, NC – Erskine swept a Conference Carolinas softball double header from Barton Friday afternoon. The Fleet won game one 4-0 and game two 9-2. 
 
Game One
Parker Birch led the Fleet at the plate going 2-3 with a double and one RBI, while Shi Cain was 1-2 with a home run and two runs driven in.  Reagan Davis finished 2-3 with a run scored and Julia Cole had a double and RBI. Morgan Hendrix (12-5) got the win allowing just two hits and striking out 10 in a complete game shutout.  
 
Game Two
Allison Neeley led the Fleet offense finishing a single away from hitting for the cycle.  She finished 3-4 with a double, triple, home run and four RBI's.  Cole was 2-4 with a double and two runs driven in and Ellison Garren was 2-3 with a run scored and run batted in.  Hannah Houge (11-5) got the win allowing two hits and striking out nine in four innings of work.
