Erskine Falls Twice On Friday

Burlington, NC – Erskine lost twice Friday on the opening day of the Conference Carolinas Softball Championship.  The Fleet lost to Limestone 3-1 in the first game and 1-0 in eight innings to North Greenville in their second game.  
 
Game One
Julia Cole was 2-3 at the plate, while Shi Cain was 1-3 with a home run and RBI to lead the Fleet. Morgan Hendrix (16-7) took the loss allowing three runs on six hits and striking out two in seven innings.  
 
Game Two
Parker Birch had the lone Erskine hit in game two going 1-3.  Hannah Houge (16-6) took the loss allowing one run on eight hits and struck out two in seven innings.
