Belmont, NC – Third seed Belmont Abbey defeated Erskine 23-9 Monday afternoon in the first round of the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Championship.  
 
Katie Schlagenhauf led the Fleet offense with five goals.  Amanda Epstein scored two goals, while Brittany Smith and Madison Whitt each added one goal and Erin Landry had one assist.
