Franklin Springs, GA – Emmanuel took a 1-0 lead less than two minutes into the match, but Erskine would score nine unanswered goals and never looked back as they defeated the Lions 21-9 Saturday afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's lacrosse action.
Freshman
Kayleigh Burns led the Fleet offense with seven goals and two assists, while
Erin Landry scored five goals and added two assists.
Amanda Epstein scored four goals to go along with one assist and
Katie Schlagenhauf scored three goals.
Amanda Acone and
Marissa Catania each scored one goal for the Fleet in the win. Mackenzie Meyers picked up the win in goal making 10 saves.
