Fleet Offense Explodes to Complete Sweep of Chowan

Due West, SC – The Erskine offense exploded for 32 runs in two games to complete a series sweep of Chowan Saturday.  The Fleet won game one 11-1 and game two 21-7.  
 
Game One
Kyle Heiss was 2-4 with a home run and two RBI's, while Just in Fox was 2-2 with two runs driven in. Trevor Lesane and Cole Warken each had a double and Cory Everett had a triple, while Drew Yniesta had a grand slam. Alex Calvert (4-2) got the win allowing one run on two hits and striking out 10 in six innings of work. 
 
Game Two
Heiss again led the Fleet offense in game two going 4-5 with a double, home run, and six RBI's.  Nick Vella was 3-5 with a home run and five RBI's and Chase Crouch was 2-5 with a home run and two runs driven in.  Fox finished the game 2-4 with a triple and three RBI's.  Zach Carter (5-3O got the win allowing one run on four hits and striking out five in five innings.
