Newberry Holds Off Fleet

Newberry, SC – Newberry held on to defeat Erskine 18-17 Wednesday afternoon in non-conference women's lacrosse action.  
 
Katie Schlagenhauf led the Fleet offense with five goals along with one assist.  Kayleigh Burns added four goals with two assists, while Faith Flanagan has three goals with two assists.  Amanda Acone and Marissa Catania each score two goals, while Amanda Epstein and Erin Landry each added one goal.
