Due West, SC – Erskine split a Conference Carolinas double header with Belmont Abbey Monday afternoon. The Fleet won game one 5-4 in game one and the Crusaders won game two 14-7.
Game One
Drew Yniesta led the Fleet offense going 2-4 with two home runs, including the walk off home run in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Cory Everett was 3-3 with a double, home run, and RBI, while
Noah Huthmaker was 1-3 with two runs driven in.
Zach Carter (3-0) picked up the win in 1.1 innings of relief work.
Game Two
Yniesta again led the Fleet at the plate going 2-2 with a double and RBI, while
Nick Vella was 3-4 with a double, triple, and three RBI's. Aistin Duckett (0-1) took the loss allowing three runs on one-third of an inning.
