Fleet Fall in Overtime in NCCAA Opener

Kissimmee, FL - Ottawa University of Arizona scored in the 95th minute to defeat Erskine 4-3 Monday night in the opening game of the NCCAA National Championship. 

The Fleet would take a 1-0 lead on a goal from Katie Cauble less than 20 minutes into the game.  Ottawa would take the lead into halftime with goals in the 32nd and 37th minute.  Maddi Cole would tie the game up on an assist from Cauble in the 51st minute.  Edie Demedicis would give Erskine their second lead of the game 29 minutes later, but it would be short-lived as the Spirit would tie the game a minute and a half later and send the game into overtime, where they would seal the win with the golden goal.
