Central, SC – Trailing by two points with 29 seconds remaining, Trent Smoot Jr. would drain a three pointer to give the Fleet the lead and then he would hit two free throws to seal a 66-63 win over Southern Wesleyan Thursday night.
 
Austin Venable led the Fleet with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Jordan Watson added 13 points and four steals.  Smoot would score nine points in the game, five of those points in the final 30 seconds of the game.  Tyler Brevard and Jaywaun Washington would each add seven points in the win.
