Belmont, NC – Erskine split their final Conference Carolinas double header of the season Saturday afternoon with Belmont Abbey. The Crusaders won game one 6-0 and the Fleet won game two 10-3.
Game One
The Erskine offense was held hitless in game one by the Crusaders.
Zach Carter (2-2) took the loss allowing four earned runs on nine hits in 4.1 innings of work.
Game Two
Nick Vella led the Fleet at the plate in game two going 2-3 with two doubles, two runs scored, and two RBI's.
Chase Watts was 2-4 with a double, two runs scored, a home run and RBI, while Zach Cater was 2-4 with a double and two runs driven in. Davis Cunningham (1-0) picked up his first career win, allowing just two hits and striking out 10 in five innings of relief.
