Mount Olive Edges Fleet in Series Opener

Mount Olive, NC – Mount Olive scored a run in the bottom of the ninth to take a 3-2 walk off win over Erskine in the series opener.
 
Trevor Wood and Cam Remalia were both 2-4 to lead the Fleet offense.  Nick Vella was 1-2 with the game tying two run home run in the ninth, while Billy Ryan was 1-4 with a double and run scored.  Michael Carpin (4-2) took the loss allowing two earned runs on seven hits with seven strike outs in 8.1 innings of work.
