Erskine Sweeps Barton

Due West, SC – Erskine swept a Conference Carolinas softball double header from Barton Saturday afternoon.  The Fleet won game one 12-3 and game two 2-0.
 
Game One
Brittany Rhinehardt led the Fleet at the plate going 2-3 with three RBI's and three runs scored.  Brittany Reynolds was 1-1 with a double and three runs driven in, while Reagan Davis was 1-3 with a double and two RBI's.  Taylor Lawhon came off the bench and picked up wa two run double.  Hannah Houge (3-5) picked up the win allowing just one hit and striking out four in three innings of relief.     
 
Game Two
Sydney Smith was 2-3 with a double two doubles and an RBI for lead the Erskine offense.  Rhinehardt was 2-3 with a run scored and Lawhon was 1-1 with a double and RBI.  Samantha Schmidt threw a complete game shutout, allowing just one hit and striking out three to get the win.
