Due West, SC – Barton narrowly defeated Erskine 5-4 Friday afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's tennis action. 
 
The Fleet trailed 2-1 after doubles, with Rachel Berkey and Eileen Rickert winning their match 8-5.  Katie Loudermilk, Alex Silver and Larissa Brutschin each won their singles matches, but t would not be enough as Barton held on for the win.
