Due West, SC – Erskine split a Conference Carolinas double header with North Greenville Saturday afternoon. The Fleet won game one 9-6 and the Crusaders won game two 16-9.
Game One
Chase Watts was 3-3 with two doubles and an RBI to lead the Fleet offense. Austin Mapes, Nick Vella,
Trevor Wood and Drew Yniesta each added two hits in the victory. Lucas Coan (4-2) picked up the win allowing five earned runs on eight hits and striking out six in 6.2 innings of work. Grayson King recorded his first save of the season getting the final out of the game.
Game Two
Kyle Heiss was 3-5 with a run batted in and
Trevor Wood was 2-4 with a double and three RBI's to lead Erskine at the plate, Mapes finished 2-5 with a double and RBI. Will McSwain (1-1) took the loss allowing two runs on one hit in one inning of relief work.
