Gaffney, SC – Erskine split a Conference Carolinas double header with Limestone Friday afternoon. The Fleet won game one 8-3 and the saints won game two 10-4.
Game One
Chaz Davey led the Erskine at the plate going 3-4 with a double and three RBI's, while
Billy Ryan was 3-5 with two doubles and a run driven in. Austin Mapes had three hits, including a triple and Drew Yniesta was 2-4 with a double and two runs scored. Michael Carpin (3-0) picked up the win allowing three runs on nine hits and striking out eight in eight innings of work.
Game Two
Mapes led the Erskine offense going 3-4 with a double and RBI, while Keyle Heiss was 2-4 with a double and two RBI's. Isaiah Lewis and Yniesta each added two hits for the Fleet. Cam Remalia (0-1) took the loss allowing six runs on six hits in 4.1 innings of work.
