Belmont, NC – Third seeded Belmont Abbey defeated sixth seed Erskine 1-0 Tuesday afternoon in the first round of the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship.  
 
Neither team could score for the first 76 minutes, but in the 77^thminute Sabrina Bologna would score to give the Crusaders a 1-0 lead.  The Fleet would not be able to get any offense going in the final 13 minutes as Belmont Abbey took the win.  Sara Dooley had seven saves in goal for the Fleet.
