Emmanuel Defeats Erskine in Overtime

Due West, SC – Emmanuel score with just over five minutes remaining in overtime to take a 2-1 victory over Erskine Wednesday in Conference Carolinas women's soccer play. 
 
Neither team could find the goal for the first 84 minutes, but in the 85thminute Brittiney Gardner would score on an assist from Eliza Denmeade to give the Fleet a 1-0 lead.  The Lions would answer back a minute and a half later to tie the game and send it into overtime where Emmanuel would win on a golden goal.
