Central, SC – Erskine shot 48% from the floor as they defeated Southern Wesleyan 70-53 Wednesday night in Conference Carolinas men's basketball action. 
 
Trent Smoot led all scorers with a career high 19 points along with seven rebounds.  Austin Venable scored 18 points with a team high eight rebounds, while Jaywaun Washington added 14 points.
