Belmont Abbey Defeats Erskine

Due West, SC – Belmont Abbey defeated Erskine 7-1 Friday afternoon in the opening game of the Conference Carolinas series.

Chris Rave and Taylor Maxey each had two hits to lead the Fleet, while Chase Watts, Chaz Davey, Connor Greene and Kyle Heiss each had one hit.  Michael Carpin (6-4) took the loss allowing aalowing four earned runs on six hits and striking out five in five innings of work.
