Newberry Holds Off Erskine 5-4

Newberry, SC – Newberry defeated Erskine 5-4 Wednesday night in nonconference baseball action.
 
Trevor Wood, Chaz Davey, Henry Faunce, and Taylor Maxey all had two hits for the Fleet.  Chase Watts added a single and scored two runs in the loss.  Trey Watts (1-1) took the loss allowing two runs in one hit in 0.2 innings of relief work.
