Erskine Splits with Augusta

Due West, SC – Erskine split a nonconference softball double header with Augusta University Tuesday afternoon.  Augusta won game one 4-2 and the Fleet took the second game 13-3.
 
Game One
Brittany Rhinehardt led the Erskine offense going 3-4 with two runs scored, while Sydney Smith and Reagan Davis each had one hit and an RBI.  Samantha Schmidt (0-2) took the loss allowing four runs on five hits and striking out seven in six inning of work. 
 
Game Two
Davis led the Fleet in game two going 4-4 with a triple and five RBI's, while Brittany Reynolds was 3-3 with a double and three runs scored.   Sydney Davis (1-0) picked up the win with 1.2 innings of scoreless relief work.
