DUE WEST- The St. Andrews women's soccer team ended Erskine's two-game winning streak, defeating the Fleet, 3-1, at Huggins Field on Wednesday afternoon. Erskine's lone goal came in the first 35 seconds of the contest when
Ani Miller-Wells was tackled by a St. Andrews player in the box.
Jillian Koves successfully completed the penalty kick to put the Fleet up 1-0. The Knights took charge from that point on, scoring three unanswered goals in the first half. The loss dropped Erskine to 2-3 on the season. Erskine will be back in action on Saturday in Conference Carolinas play against Lees-McRae. Kick-off is scheduled for 2 pm at Huggins Field.
