Greenwood, SC – Ninth Ranked Lander defeated Erskine 6-3 Wednesday night in non conference baseball action.  

The Bearcats would score three unearned runs in the first three innings to take the early lead.  The Fleet would score two unearned runs in the fifth and sixth inning to make it a one run game, but a three run home run from Lander in the bottom of the sixth would break the game open and the Bearcats would take the win.

Sam Cothran was 3-4 to lead the Fleet offense, while Henry Faunce was 1-3 with a double and two runs scored.  Chaz Davey, Tanner Lollis, Kyle Heiss, and AJ Fabrizio all had one hit for Erskine.  Alex Calvert (8-3) took the loss allowing three unearned runs on three hits and struck out six in three innings of work.
