Banner Elk, NC-- The Lees-McRae men's soccer team scored a goal in the 12th minute of overtime to defeat Erskine 2-1 on Saturday. The Bobcats won't be able to enjoy the win in their regular season finale for long as the Fleet will return on Tuesday in the quarterfinal round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament. If Saturday is any indication then Tuesday's showdown will be quite a battle. Erskine scored first on Saturday after a scoreless first half on a goal by freshman Jake Lochstampfor in the 63rd minute. The Bobcats got the equalizer three minutes later on a cross that bounced into the net, The two teams will kick-off at 7 pm on Tuesday night in Banner Elk.
