Box Score Belmont, N.C. – For the second straight game senior Caitlin Bullock (Lexington, SC, White Knoll High School) blasted 15 kills to lead the Erskine Flying Fleet (10-5, 6-0) to a 3 to 0 victory over the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College tonight in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action at the Wheeler Center.

For Bullock, her ninth kill was the most significant as it moved her into first place on Erskine's career kill list surpassing former teammate Lauren Stewart '13.  Bullock also contributed 7 blocks, 4 digs and a service ace in the win.

Erskine's defense was outstanding again tonight, holding The Abbey to just a .052 hitting percentage. It was the second straight game that the Fleet have held their opponent below .100 hitting percentage.  Sophomore Kendall Kirk (Lexington, SC, White Knoll High School) tallied a game-high 16 digs.

After squandering an early four point lead, Erskine overcame a late two-point deficit at 23 to 21 to close out the set on a 4-0 run.  Marissa Greenough (Laguna Beach, CA, Laguna Beach High School) ignited the run with a kill while Bullock knocked down the game-winner.

With the momentum firmly in hand, Erskine ran away with the next two sets, winning 25-19 and 25-17 to clinch their sixth consecutive victory and remain undefeated in conference play.

Setter Kristen Dodge (Duncan, SC, Byrnes High School) handed out 32 assists along with 6 digs and 2 service aces.  Greenough, Catherine McAlister (Charleston, SC, Bishop England School) and Kelly Sullivan (Wellington, FL, Wellington Community High School) each contributed 6 kills.

Erskine travels to Franklin Springs, Georgia, on Tuesday to play conference newcomer Emmanuel College.  Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
