Box Score Due West, S.C. – #1 Belmont Abbey defeated #5 Erskine 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-23) tonight in the semi-final round of the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament at the Wheeler Center.

The loss snaps the Fleet's four game winning streak.

After dropping the first set 25-16, Erskine stiffened their defense to challenge the Crusaders in the next two sets.  Unfortunately, the Fleet came up short losing the second set by three points and the final third set by two points.

Freshman Allie Evans (Frisco, TX, Frisco High School) led the Fleet with 11 kills and 9 digs.  Senior libero Anna Butrym (West Columbia, SC, White Knoll High School) ended her career with a team-high 15 digs on the back row.

The Crusaders were led by Hannah Schellenberg's double-double of 15 kills and 10 digs while teammate Caitlin Hankins had 11 kills.

Erskine concludes their season at 12-15.
