#5 Erskine faces #1 Belmont Abbey in semi-final round tomorrow night

Due West, S.C. – #5 Erskine (12-14) hopes the old adage that the third time is a charm will play out tomorrow night as the Flying Fleet travel to face #1 Belmont Abbey (26-3) in the semi-finals of the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament .

Belmont Abbey won the two previous meetings 3-0 this season, the latest coming at Belk Arena on October 25th.  The Abbey is led by Hannah Schellenberg, who averaged just shy of 4 kills per set at 3.94 this season, and leads the conference in kills and kills per set.

The Flying Fleet are led by junior Caitlyn Bullock, who averaged 3.07 kills per set, fifth best in the conference.  In last game, Bullock had a game-high 16 kills.

Erskine enters tomorrow's night contest playing some of their best volleyball having won nine of their last twelve contests, including the last four in a row.  Unfortunately, the only team that is hotter right now is Belmont Abbey.  The Crusaders currently own a 20 game winning streak and have not lost since September 20th to King University on the road.

Game time is set for 6:30 p.m. and may be watched live at:  http://www.ustream.tv/channel/belmont-abbey-athletics
