Box Score Anderson, S.C. – Archrival Anderson University got the best of the Flying Fleet tonight, beating Erskine 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-19) in non-conference women's volleyball action at the Abney Center.

Erskine (3-9) was led by junior Megan Johnson's fourth double-double with 13 assists and 13 digs.  Fellow junior Caitlin Bullock (Lexington, SC, White Knoll High School) was Johnson's frequent target as she finished with 7 kills along with 6 digs.

Shannon Gillispie led the Trojans with an impressive 18 kills and 16 digs, both game-highs.

With the win, Anderson earns another point in the Beville Cup race.  Anderson has won all three fall competitions to this point.  The next two points will be determined at the regional cross country meet the first week of November.

Erskine goes on the road this weekend to play two conference games.  On Friday, the Fleet play Limestone and take on Converse College on Saturday.
