Due West, S.C. – The Erskine Flying Fleet plays host to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders this Wednesday in the semi-final round of the Conference Carolinas Women’s Volleyball Championship Tournament.
The Flying Fleet, who entered the tournament as the #1 seed from the Western Division, defeated Barton College 3-0 on Saturday to advance. Meanwhile the Crusaders, the #2 seed from the Eastern Division, also trounced their opponent, King College, 3-0 to move forward.
The winner of Wednesday’s game will play the winner of the Queens University/North Greenville University game on Saturday, November 17
th at 2:00 p.m. The location will be at the higher seed. Queens University currently holds home-court advantage through the tournament as the #1 seed of the Eastern Division and having defeated Erskine during the regular season.
In their lone matchup this season, Belmont Abbey topped Erskine 3-1.
Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
Admission is free to all Erskine home volleyball events.
