Banner Elk, NC – Erskine had their season-high six game win streaked snapped today losing to the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College 3-0 (19-25, 18-25, 13-25) in Conference Carolinas women’s volleyball action at Williams Gymnasium.  Erskine dips to 13-7 overall and 8-2 in conference while Lees-McRae remains undefeated in conference play at 10-0 while improving their overall record to 15-6.

Erskine was held to a season-low 14 kills and a -.065 hitting percentage in the three-set match.  Senior Sandra Campbell (Pilot Point, TX, Point Pilot HS) led the Fleet with 5 kills and 1 block.  Setter Larz Chabra (Mt. Pleasant, SC, Wando High School)finished with 12 assists and a team-high 7 digs.

For Lees-McRae, Taylor Clendenin had 12 kills and teammate Megan Epperson knocked down 10 kills.

Erskine returns to action next Tuesday against Limestone.  Game time is set for 7 p.m.
