Erskine Volleyball goes PINK!

Due West, SC – The Erskine women’s volleyball is going PINK to support Breast Cancer Awareness and Health Education on October 25th against Belmont-Abbey College in their annual Dig PINK game.

The Flying Fleet will play in pink jerseys to bring awareness to prevention and treatment of breast cancer.  In addition, local health agency volunteers will be on hand to distribute informational literature and answer questions about breast cancer prevention.  The team will be selling special DIG PINK t-shirts as well as asking for a $5 admission donation to the game.  All the proceeds raised will be donated to the Side-Out Foundation.

The Side-Out Foundation, a non-profit organization located in Washington, D.C., has raised millions of dollars for breast cancer research through volleyball tournaments, clinics, and rallies.  Funds are currently devoted to cutting-edge targeted therapies and molecular profiling.  The Side-Out Foundation also devotes a portion of the funds to local and national cancer support organizations.
