Due West, SC – The Erskine Volleyball continued their excellent play beating Converse College 3 to 1 (25-20, 25-16, 23-25, and 25-15) last night in Conference Carolinas action.  The Flying Fleet have now won 6 of their last 8 games and improve to 7-5 in conference and 9-12 overall.

On the evening, Setter Larz Chabra (Mt. Pleasant, SC/Wando H.S.) directed an efficient Erskine attack with 46 assists.  She also added 5 kills on just 9 attempts.  Liz Massey (Greenville, SC/Eastside H.S.) and Lauren Stewart (Hartwell, GA/Hart Co. H.S.) punished the Converse defense with 19 and 15 kills respectively.  Defensively, Alison Albers (Goodhue, MN/Iowa Lakes CC) continues to defend the net well with 9 blocks.  On the back row, Brooke Dodge (Duncan, SC/Byrnes H.S.) led the Fleet with 10 digs.

Erskine takes the weekend off due to fall break and returns to action next Tuesday against Limestone College.  First serve is set for 7 p.m.
