Tasha James enters her third year as the Flying Fleet assistant women’s basketball coach.

A 2003 Erskine graduate, Tasha was a two-year starter for the Fleet after transferring from USC-Upstate.  Following graduation, Tasha stayed on as an assistant coach under former women’s basketball coach Maggie Peeler.

In 2005, Tasha took a brief coaching hiatus serving as a YMCA program director before returning to the hard court as head women’s basketball coach at Spartanburg Christian Academy for four years during the 2007-11 seasons, where she compiled 62-44 record.
