Began the indoor season with a 4:44.43 outing in the 1 mile and 9:29.12 finish in the 3,000m run at the JDL Classic ... ran a 16:47.00 in the 5,000m run at the Carolina Challenge ... shaved 10 seconds off his 3,000m time to 9:19.53 at the South Carolina Invitational where he also ran 16:21.59 in the 5,000m run or 26 seconds faster ... just missed placing in both the 3,000m run (9:15.85 - a season PR) and the 5,000m run (16:29.98) finishing 9th in both events at the Conference Carolinas Championships.
