With the 2023-2024 season, Dylan Anderson is entering is his sixth year at Erskine College.
Prior to starting the track and field programs at Erskine College, Dylan has coached at The College of Charleston, Anderson University and Francis Marion University. While at The College of Charleston he coached their school record holder in the 400 meter hurdles. While at Anderson University he coached an All American in the 200 meters and a National Qualifier in the 100 meters, an All Conference performance in the 400 meters and an All Conference performance in the women's 4 * 400 meter relay (4:03.17).
In his tenure at Erskine College, Dylan has led the women's cross country team to a runner up finish in the conference championship (2019) with 3 individual All Conference performances. In the program's inaugural indoor track and field conference championship, he coached 2 All Conference performances in the 3000 meter and 5000 meter races. During the Covid year, he coached an individual cross country Conference Champion and an All Conference performance. During the indoor season, he coached a conference champion in the 3000 meter and 5000 meter races. During the outdoor season, he coached a conference champion in the 5000 meter race and an All Conference performance in the 10,000 meter race and an All Conference performance in the 3000 meter steeplechase. In the 2021-2022 season he coached one women's All Conference performer in cross country and one All Conference performer in the men's steeplechase outdoors. In the 2022-2023 season he coached one men's All Conference performer in cross country, and three All Conference performers in outdoor track and field (400 meter hurdles, 1500m and 3000m Steeplechase).
As an athlete, Dylan competed for North Greenville University from 2013 to 2015 as a distance runner. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in sports management.
