Competed in all five meets as a freshman ... set an 8k personal record in the Conference Carolinas Championships (10/23) with a time of 22:55.1, lowering his personal best by nearly 3 seconds ... finished with a time of 26:41.1 in the Eyer Opener Festival (9/3), earning him a Top 10 finish in his first collegiate event.
