GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Erskine College Women's Beach Volleyball team (13-16, 8-2 SAC) reached the semifinals of this weekend's South Atlantic Conference Tournament, hosted by Tusculum University, on Friday and Saturday. Erskine split its pool play matches with Emmanuel and the host Pioneers on Friday, and then fell to top-seeded Carson-Newman in the semifinals on Saturday.

Prior to the start of the tournament, the 2026 South Atlantic Conference Beach Volleyball season awards were announced, and Erskine senior Abby Platt was named the conference's Player of the Year. The duo of Platt and Reka Meilinger earned first-team honors, and the duo of Mackenzie Fa'apouli and Hannah Platt were named on the second team.

Platt, a senior from Prescott Valley, Arizona, helped the Fleet to a second-place finish in the conference standings and was a First Team All-Conference selection for the second consecutive year. She guided her pair to an 8-2 record in SACC play and a 12-5 mark against Division II opponents while serving as a steady and reliable presence at the No. 1 position all season paired with Meilinger.
